COSBOA WELCOME NEW COUNCIL MEMBER
COSBOA is pleased to announce the addition of ASTRA - the Australia and New Zealand Short-Term Rental Association - as its latest Council Member. ASTRA represents around 180,000 properties in Australia and 45,000 in New Zealand, advocating for both hosted and non-hosted residential property owners, operators, and associated businesses. ASTRA CEO Mitchell Price emphasised their mission to enhance the short-term rental industry through advocacy, education, and research. COSBOA CEO Luke Achterstraat highlighted the shared concerns of mum-and-dad landlords about regulatory and tax burdens, making ASTRA a valuable ally in supporting small businesses within the visitor economy.
